Highland Ave. - Morningside “Yard Sale”

Later in the day I went with Cindy to do some errands around town and stopped at this sale. The sale was in the yard of a large manor house. Here I found a number of things that were far too much on the antique side for my taste. Among the stuff scattered across the yard were a multitude of old brass wall and ceiling light fixtures, a old lamppost, a large plush pig, a damaged plush ape smoking a cigar, a painting of a barn and some ceramic angels. Among some books gathered in a cardboard box were “Yoga for You”, “Star Guide to Your Relations with Others”. “Plain Speaking”, “Looking for Mr. Goodbar” and “Fears of the American People”
We bought nothing.
