Connecticut Ave. - Lake Claire “Yard Sale”

This was a sale of two homes next to one another. One seller was a friend of mine. On the sidewalk in front of the first home was a number of baby care and childbirth books and tapes including “Baby Mugs: on VHS, “Baby Steps” and “Baby Faces”. There were also some Buffy the Vampire Slayer books an set of Scientific American books. Some of the later titles were “Sleep”, “Sand” and “Honey Bee”. Next store my friend was selling some of the stuff he had collected in his travels including a painted serpent that he was unsure what continent it came from, afigure of a sheep standing on a wheeled cart, a set of electric wind chimes, a fax machine and some old luggage. The most puzzling item of all was an old Cookie Cutter that claimed to be two cutters in one Gingerbread Boy or Snowman.
I bought nothing.
